Note that since only the best five races for any team or individual count, positions after all races may change markedly from those after five. In the event of any ties in the first three in any division, I will first compare the worst races of the teams or runners concerned, and failing that, which one has finished ahead of the other the most times, while if that too fails, I will compare aggregate times. Final League Race: Change from Original Fixture Note that this will not be held in Victoria Park as originally planned, as we are not able to get access to the clubhouse. It will also be cross-country, and not a road race. The race will now be held at Brunel University's sports facilities at their campus in Uxbridge, on Wednesday 22nd February, starting at 3.15pm. I am uncertain where the changing facilities will be, as there are several possibilities, but you should meet near the athletics track, where you will be given directions on the day. Parking is available. If you are travelling by public transport, Uxbridge station (Metropolitan Line) is nearest, and about a mile away, and buses from the station (U4 and U7) stop in Kingston Lane near the track. AGM and Presentation These will be held at Brunel University, as soon as the results have been calculated. You should ensure that your college is represented at the AGM. The two main reasons for the AGM are to elect a secretary and treasurer for the league, and decide the venues and dates for the fixtures. For example, if any teams want to organise a 10k road race as part of the league, as was originally planned for this winter, they should be prepared to say so at the meeting. I have also had a suggestion that we combine the men's divisions. Many years ago before a lot of college mergers, there were many more colleges competing in the league, and also more runners in total. Now, some of the runners who win prizes in Division 2 as individuals are not even among the best in their college, as they have team mates better than them who sometimes score in Division 1. A bar will be available after the race.
