Firstly the winner of the men's race did not return his disc, and secondly, as you will see below, the date of the final race has had to be changed, and I have been waiting for confirmation of the new arrangements. I hope that in the meantime you have found the incomplete results on the Web. Thanks to Reading University for organising this race, to Richard England for helping with timekeeping, and to Malcolm French for issuing discs. A black Asics top was found after everyone had apparently left. If it is yours, let me know. Note that since only the best five races for any team or individual count, positions after all races may change markedly from those after five. In the event of any ties in the first three in any division, I will first compare the worst races of the teams or runners concerned, and failing that, which one has finished ahead of the other the most times, while if that too fails, I will compare aggregate times. Final League Race This will be held on Wednesday 3rd March, at 3.15pm. Note that this is a week later than originally planned. Brunel University are organising this race. It will be run on a course south of the Brunel University campus. Changing facilities will be available at Brunel's athletics track in Kingston Lane, and the course is a few hundred metres away in Pield Heath Road. Parking is available at the track but not at the course. The course is the same as that used last year. If you are travelling by public transport, Uxbridge station (Metropolitan Line) is nearest, and a bit more than a mile away, and buses from the station (U4 and U7) stop in Kingston Lane near the track. AGM and Presentation These will be held an hour or so after the sixth race, as soon as the results have been calculated. You should ensure that your college is represented at the AGM. The two main reasons for the AGM are to elect a secretary and treasurer for the league, and decide the venues and dates for the fixtures.
